I haven't been here in a while. Sometimes there are so many things to do that I just can't get around to it. Everyday I have so many ideas of new things that I want to teach CJ. I get so easily deterred. For the past couple months we have been working on letter sounds as we are preparing to learn how to read. He is really good at it. Our children are like sponges and if you just devote a little bit of time each day, it will make a world of difference in their speech, language, and just their overall communication. It is amazing to watch my son incorporate what I teach him in his everyday activity. If he doesn't pronounce a word right, he keys in on it and will try to fix it. It really makes me proud!

We are using a kit by Hooked on Phonics, the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD, as well as doing daily activities in a Brainquest preschool workbook. I swear by by the Letter Factory, but the other products are pretty good too.
